Watchman Entry Alert
The Entry Alert is an electronic doorway entry alarm that sounds a buzzer when a person enters a doorway. This unit works on Passive Infrared (PIR) technology by detecting a change in heat between room temperature and body / skin surface heat.
It does not require a reflector to complete the circuit because there is no beam or a "magic eye."
It is a reliable, dependable industrial grade product that lasts for years with little or no maintenance. The unit operates on four AA alkaline batteries or a 9-volt DC power adapter that can be bought from any local hardware store or electronics store. The batteries have a normal life of 8 to 12 months, depending on the frequency of people traffic and length of use.
This product is most commonly used in stores and office reception areas to signal the arrival a new customer or visitor. The product is helpful in alerting store/office staff that may be occupied elsewhere. The Entry Alert is also available with an extension sounder that can be located in a back office.

Extension Sounder Kit
The Watchman Entry Alert tells you when someone is entering or leaving your store while you are in another room.
We also have the Extension Sounder kit that can be added so that you can hear the buzzer in the back office – to a distance of 15 meters. We could supply customised extension kits for up to 30 meters.
