Standard People Counter
The Standard People Counter is a simple, stand alone unit which counts foot traffic when a person enters a doorway. The count number is displayed on a LCD screen which can be easily reset to zero by pressing the reset button at the back of the unit.
This unit uses Passive Infrared (PIR) technology to detect a change in heat between room temperature and body/skin surface. Since there is no beam or a "magic eye,” it does not require a reflector to complete the circuit.
The Standard People Counter is used most commonly in stores, museums, libraries, parks and office receptions to count the number of customers and visitors.
This product monitors people traffic and assists stores in calculating important data such as sales conversion ratios, effectiveness of advertising and determining employee staffing.
The counter is a reliable, dependable industrial grade product designed to last for years with little maintenance. It operates on four Alkaline AA batteries or a 9-volt DC power adapter that is available at any local hardware or electronics store.
The unit will count the total foot traffic of both “IN” & “OUT”.
The batteries have a normal life of 8 to 12 months, depending on the frequency of people traffic and length of use.

Outdoor People Counter
The Outdoor People Counter is similar to the Standard People Counter except that it is operated only by battery. It is housed in a sturdy insulated weather resistant case making it ideal for any cold or warm weather outdoor venue. It is widely used in national parks, zoos and other outdoor entertainment settings.
